It's a great place!
If one wishes to hear piano, you hire a pianist. If one wishes to listen to rancheras, you hire a mariachi…. Naturally, a “Norteño” band should play norteño music! Was there on Sunday night with my wife for a late evening mother’s day drinks and dancin’. Ambiance was wonderful. At first, no bar stools at the bar and all tables were taken (or reserved) . I was there Sunday night. They had two different bands playing...which weren't bad. The place is nice...but there was just one big problem. We asked if the bands play nortenas, the manager said " yes, the next band is a conjunto norteno. So we waited and waited but no nortenas were played. Finally after a long time we personally asked the band if they could please play a nortena. ( mind u they are wearing a coat that says " grupo norteno in the back).
