Stayed at the Beach Club room 702D. Upon arrival room had not been cleaned. Room was damaged on basically every wall, dirty floors, dirty dish water and rag in kitchen, last occupants things left behind etc. NOT what you expect out of a Beach Club rental at all. Very Disappointed and Dissatisfied with the whole trip experience. Highly Don't recommend!

Terrible service from this company. It started with the check-in when we could not find our designated parking space. Spent an hour looking under bumpers in the parking lot for our space only to discover it was in a garage under renovation. We could not figure out how to enter the building with the instructions provided and no help was available when we called. Condo was in marginal condition with broken doors, mold in the shower and around the windows, and multiple dents in the walls. A/C failed on Saturday night and we cou... read more

When you rent a place from a reputable company then you would expect it to be at least decent and average, but you would hope it would be even nicer. We called immediately upon check-in concerning our master bedroom. The mattress was beyond squeaky and the headboard was not attached to the frame. Therefore, every time you sat down or just turned over in the bed, the headboard would slam against the wall and it was just completely uncomfortable and ridiculous. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY. We are in unprecedented times with the COVID-19 Pandemic. States and cities are requiring people to shelter in place, Alabama has closed all the beaches and restaurants and they are begging people to not come to their area to stop the spread of this virus. The whole travel industry has been turned upside down as every industry has had to step outside of their written contracts to refund travel that can no longer be taken in the wake of this pandemic. We were supposed to vacation in Gulf Shores March 21 - 28, but due to Corona virus we cancelled our trip. The airlines, car rental, etc. were very accommodating and understanding of the situation and we received full credit for our bookings. Meyer Vacation Rentals was the COMPLETE opposite. Not only did they refuse to give us back our money, but they were RUDE on the phone and hung up on us a couple of times. The beaches in Alabama were shut down, as were most restaurants and entertainment venues. One would think, given the ... read more

Had to cancel our trip 3/21/2020 due to 14 day quarntine with coronavirus. Was hung up on twice. Still havent returned my phone calls, email or facebook messanger. I can't use a credit voucher as I am out of a job and have no vacation time. We are disputing the charges on our credit card due to lack of response and unprofessionalism.

Meyer is un American in my opinion. We are scheduled during the Corona Virus and a refund is completely out of the question. These are unprecendented times and should be handled that way. Instead of GREED. Give me a break. They sent a letter from Alabama saying we couldn't go. We do not want to go at a later date.

We created a grace period for cancellations so that you would not lose the value of your reservation. Certainly no one knows when our beautiful beaches will be open again and our resort area will be fully functional. Rental property is so run down that it shouldn't be rented! How can you stay in business with filthy rentals.I should have read all of your negative feedbacks before I rented! Stay away from Meyer rentals!!!!'

Arrived early and called to see if the property could accommodate. Meyer did not even attempt to accommodate. Meyer was not able to give us an estimated time our rental would be available. Meyer told us there are plenty of public accesses to the beach and we need to go there to wait. Meyer's customer service (or lack there of) was terrible. I'm hoping this isn't a preview of what to expect once we are able to check in!
