I rented from Meyer Property Group and, while maintenance was consistently good (quick responses and friendly staff), my move‑out experience was disappointing. After my lease ended on June 30, I was charged $120 for “general cleaning” even though the apartment was cleaner than when I moved in. This was by far the worst renting experience I've had. Maintenance requests were ignored for months. We put in requests for broken blinds, missing window screens, basement outlets that didn't work, and several other issues. There was even mold growing on the basement ceiling. After waiting 4-5 months with nothing being done, I finally had to call the city. Funny enough, once the city got involved, they suddenly started fixing things. The lawn was another issue. Meyer properties was very accommodating to me. The unit I had was quaint and got the job done for my one year living with them. I appreciated the fact that there was in unit laundry. Meyer properties was quick to respond to maintenance requests. Jacob was a great help when I found my apartment and making sure everything was all set for when I moved out!
