RecommendedGreat place. Everyone we spoke to was helpful and courteous. When our car was put on the hoist and examined by the mechanic he came to the waiting room and took us back to see the damage that had been done when the exhaust caught on a broken piece of concrete. He explained the choices, the time needed, his recommendations and associated prices before giving the total estimate. We could see mechanics working on our car thru the window near the secretary. OUTSTANDING! Had major brake issues and limited money. Initial estimate for fixing it all was very, very reasonable — included cost of replacing a caliper. BUT .... Javier put some extra effort in and was able to fix the caliper! Saving me $120!!!! (The last time I was here for exhaust work they found a way to do the fix cheaper as well) I am so impressed and pleased! You can’t go wrong with these guys! My highest recommendation
Just had an 07 GMC Acadia in the shop today. Really bad pulsation in the front end when braking. Brakes are about 6 months old and work was done by Mex Muffler. He took it to a local shop to diagnose the pulsing and when they inspected the vehicle, they blamed the pulsation on cupped tires. Owner bought new tires and the problem was better but persisted. Pulled brakes apart and the brake rotors looked good and when I checked run out, they dialed in within 0.002"...that was not the problem. Further inspection showed that the ... read more
I brought my old Mustang in to the Park St. location to have an exhaust leak repaired. Let’s just say I got greater work at a better price than you’ll find at any other muffler shop around, take that to the bank! Professional, prompt, polite and darn good at what they do. The kind of place you could send your mom or your gal and they’d get the same quality work, treatment & price. I will use their muffler wizardry again! Thanks MexMuffler!

I'm from LA. Got a short time living in madison but since i heard about mexmuffler in Park St it's the only ones that work in my car pretty fast and affordable prices highly recommend. Ask for Javier he's one of the top Doggs in the shop
My wife's car started sounding awful yesterday and we found what we thought was a leaking/loose flex pipe. We drove into MexMuffler's today and within 15 minutes our hunch was confirmed. They were super fast, very transparent and very affordable. We walked in and were out within 45 minutes on a very busy Friday afternoon. We will back for all of our muffler needs and much more!!!
I've know about this shop for years in passing by all the time. Finally, I decided to take my car in after the underbody started to rattle while idling. They pulled it in and were more than willing to take a look without even charging a "diagnostics fee". When he figured out what it was (a simple loose heat shield- what I expected) he said all it would take is a new screw and tightening. I asked how much it would cost, he said "nothing".
