I have been coming here forever. I pretty much order the same thing.....wet burrito BUT vegetarian style (beans, no meat, red sauce, no chili)....pretty simple. Idk if there is new management or what, but I was refused my "regular" order today...server stated "my cooks are wishy washy about special orders, I don't want to make them mad". I was a server myself for 12 years. I get it. Totally. Just diappointed that my go to place near home did this today. Maybe it is time to try something new. I am open to suggestions.

Everything was awesome, including the service, except for the tamales. Not sure who made them, but they were not very good. They were overcooked, and the smallest tamales I have ever seen. I won't order them again. I did like the atmosphere and decor. The seating was nice. Everything else was great.

Great food, superb service... My favorite part as always is the chips and salsa... how ever this batch seem particularly hotter than before, me being the trooper finished the bowl... which that was a huge mistake because my stomach was rumbling louder than a monster truck show at Joe Louis Arena... and next was the worse 3 hours of my life... firehole is an understatement.. felt like I was giving birth to the devil myself all the while being stabbed in the intestines with a hot poker but I'd return I just won't eat all the s... read more
