Dr. Baliga is truly one of the best pediatricians I have ever met. She takes the time to really listen and not just to me as a parent, but to my kids themselves. She treats them like whole human beings, making them feel respected, heard, and cared for. Her kindness, attentiveness, and genuine compassion shine through at every visit. She had huge shoes to fill after Dr. Moshofsky retired, and she has done so beautifully. We feel so grateful to have her as our pediatrician and couldn’t recommend her more highly.
Doctor Emily Wood and her team administered a 3rd dose of the MMR-V vaccine to my son who had already had the standard 2 doses which provides full immunization for life. They did the same with the TDap. When I called, she acknowledged that it was an error and apologized. She mentioned that errors happen. Vaccines are a touchy subject, and I expected more care and consideration or at least double checking before jabbing my son. I don't think that is too much to ask. MetroPeds has wonderful staff, a fast and reassuring nurse advice line, and I was able to get my son in for a prompt evaluation appointment to rule out major breathing concerns. I didn’t get to visit with our pediatrician Dr. Emily Wood that day, but met with Hillary Davault PNP who listened intently to my concerns. We had a treatment plan in office, AVS with detailed instructions and I saw improvement in his symptoms within hours - Hopefully avoiding an expensive hospitalization and treating an URI early. We see Dr. Chiu for our baby born in 2024, and she is an amazing pediatrician. She is polite and informative, and has wonderful bedside manner. All of the nurse staff is very sweet and fun to talk to. As a first time Gen Z mom, I love that the staff is as professional as they are approachable. Dr. Chiu is so good, I can't even gatekeep.
