I am absolutely outraged by my experience at Metropolitan Pediatrics a few years ago. As an extern, I was excited to learn and gain hands-on experience, but what I encountered was nothing short of negligence and unprofessionalism. During my first vaccine administration, my preceptor handed me the vaccine and instructed me to gather the necessary supplies. We proceeded to the patient's room, and I administered the vaccine.
