I worked there as Maintenance, Maid 5 years – I miss the old time tenants Worked in 1991-1996 - 7 days a week as maintenance 6:30 AM -3:00 PM, and lock up at 5PM and put trash out a 10 P.M., on call 7 nights. $5.00 hr. then $7.00 the last year and a half. Got rent reduction for my room after about 1 1/2 years, then finally free room, then rent again, then free room again last 2 years. I was doing EVERYTHING except taking rents. Residential – Everyone that comes here lives here, this isn't a tourist hotel at all. People change their residential address to here, get cable in their room, the works! Nancy the manager is as nice as can be and will help you in any way that she can. The housekeeper will bring you two fresh towels, one roll of toilet paper, fresh bedding once a week. Great for Single person working near Airport – This is not a hotel for tourist, this is a Residential Hotel for those on fixed income. I have been living here for almost 5yrs mainly because it is close to where I work. It is located in the heart of downtown South San Francisco, I would say it is one of the better Residential hotels in South City, well managed and very clean if you compare to the death traps in San Francisco.
