We had the AC unit of our rental condo go out. We filed a claim with our Home Warranty company, who assigned it to Metropolitan Heating and Air. I had to call them 3 times to get an appointment. Once they showed up they quickly said it was the Freon, next it was the pipe locks, next it was the compressor...they seemed to have very little clue of what was going on. When they thought it was the Freon, they wanted to charge $45 per pound....nonnegotiable! You can buy 25 pounds for $275 and most AC companies charge $30. They als... read more
I wish I could give them zero stars. Terrible customer service. I was told they would call me after 2:00 pm to let me know when they would come to my house for service. Not only did they not call, but at 4:30 pm I called them and they said they would not be coming out. Apparently the service tech finished early and went home. Not only did they not deliver on their service, they did not have the common courtesy to call me and let me know they would not be showing up. Sometimes Good The repair man arrived late for his appointment. The repair did not last and had to be redone after 2 days. While the first repair man was incompetent. After complaining, they sent a more seasoned and competent repair man. The second repair was done very good.
Trustworthy and Excellent service I had a furnace repair done by this company and was so impressed that I had them come back and replace my furnace and install central air. I was not disappointed, they were always on time and the price was fair. They worked really hard and were proud of their work. So was I! This is truly quality work that they did. It is rare that I feel so completely happy with the price and the work, this is certainly the case with Metropolitan Heating and Air.
