Joe and Ted helped me out big time a couple of months ago, tuning up a mountain bike that was handed down to me. They also got me set up with pedals and a new helmet as well, all for a super reasonable price. On top of that, they gave me a handful of suggestions for local places to start mountain biking at. Thanks a ton for all your help! The bike has been FANTASTIC!
The fine mechanics at Metropolis have now built two of my bikes, my daily driver, and my winter bike, and I'm getting ready to send them my touring bike to get it built next. They are always honest, professional, and willing to share their expertise if you have questions or are looking for advice. They are a Bianchi re-seller and always have a great selection of new bikes for just about anyone.

From the extra large Bern helmut, to the custom front rack for my since stolen Detroit Bikes A Type, to the front light for my Detroit Bikes Cotello, these guys are always super Kool with helping get exactly what I need! I love the relaxed atmosphere of the sweet space that they occupy and the fact that the staff never pressure you in to buying anything that you don't need, nor want. Had a blow-out under the Ambassador Bridge and had to hoof it all the way to Metropolis on Michigan and 14th. Friendly and fast - had me back on my way in no time. Check them out!!
Very good shop, bikes, parts, accessories, and knowledge. Would recomend it highly.
