MICE/PEST PROBLEM. Disgusting facility and management- don’t waste your time! Metro Self Storage won’t take any responsibility for their mouse problem or the damage done in my unit from mouse poop and urine (see photos). Their insurance does not cover damage from rodents/ pests and they actually suggest suing the renters beside you for damages (if they can find a source of food in the units around yours) and cleaning the soiled items yourself. I encountered a major problem when trying to access my unit. Despite being provided with the access code and storage room number, I was unable to enter the storage unit. This happened yesterday, December 31, when I had planned my evening to organize my supplies for upcoming events. I had even borrowed a vehicle and had 150 canvases that needed to be stored.
