I agree with so many of the upset residents of Metro properties on this page. Metro severely neglects our community and seized the HOA from homeowners. Now HOA fees go up all the time and there still isn’t enough money for necessary repairs or maintenance. in the budget. Homeowners have no say in anything. Metro won’t open the HOA meetings to homeowners. They have all the power and keep asking for more money and not disclosing where that money is going.🤬
They don’t keep up there other places like palm River
I currently live in one of their communities and the amenities are severely lacking. They don’t allow home owners to actually sit on the HOA board! They refuse to pay assessments on their lots! I don’t recommend ever doing business with this organization.
They are a corrupt, awful business that will rip off homeowners at any chance. They are TRASH.
Please don’t be fooled by a beautiful lagoon, I live in a community controlled by them and they are an absolute nightmare! Broken gates, fallen trees, the pool was shut down for health reasons multiple times...and they refuse to allow homeowners onto to the HOA board for over 15 years now They also refuse to hold homeowner meetings that we can attend to challenge them on these issues. Please don’t take my word for it, read for yourself the kind of amendments they are adding to our declarations.
Empty promises, extra fees of $2140 that are to be charged to buyers at closing on TOP of the absorbent CDD fees. All for little to no amenities. Just to say you live “near” a lagoon that the public has access to and trashes on a weekly basis. Regretting having ever signed a contract.
Such a beautiful place in the making. You can live in a lagoon. Don’t wait look into these locations. I do t work for this company, I love taking photos and video’s
Don’t be fooled with great videos. It looks great on paper. But they have stopped construction of the lagoon in Southshore and no word on when they will resume. So if you bought a house based on using the lagoon, you are out of luck.
Would love to live here. Every day would be like a vacation.
