Metro Family Therapy is the first place I have been seen at in over 2 yrs. Lacey and I talked and since I get majorly overwhelmed we both agreed a 1 hour float would be helpful with that. So I went on Monday. Lacey was very understanding and explained everything that I needed to know. I left the lid open but about 30 I got really cold. They provide all the items you need to use while showering. I definitely will be going back and I will also recommend this facility for anyone who has sensory issues or just gets overwhelmed.
As an autistic person this was a phenomenal experience!! The sensory deprivation was like a nervous system reset! 10/10 recommend! I will absolutely be back. The staff was super helpful as well! I also see Dr. Earl for therapy here and I cannot recommend her enough! As someone with ASD and PTSD, she is phenomenal at helping me navigate and relearn so many things.
I’ve had a terrible experience here. 4 therapist on the span of a years, 2-3 office managers- honestly couldn’t keep up and at least 2 case managers because I was so mismanaged by my therapists. Very unprofessional and overall not a great place for trauma treatment. I begged all 4 times (5 - but it appears I’m being ghosted by what would have been therapist 5 after my first review). I feel discouraged to do therapy. This place has caused more issues and hardships for me especially with the family therapy. Do not recommend.
Worst therapy experiences of my life! First one couldn’t stop talking about herself, second one was telling my child how much they were attracted to her father (during session) and according to the step mom was hooking up with the father, third one couldn’t understand what I want an every Monday appoint was and kept forgetting me and putting me off- oh all of them put me off including the case manger from weeks to months. Absolutely Amazing experience! We did a couples float and massage. Both were therapeutic and relaxxxing. I have back problems, and am feeling Great 3 days later. The float was my first time and I highly recommend it to everyone. Laci was Great and very professional. I will be a return customer no doubt
