1st off I thought they were going to be good. 2nd visit he says yep that’s what I thought, while looking in my eyes. I asked what do you see. (NO ANSWER). I said I get a little blurring in my right eye. He said oh yeah you have a small cataract. All done no more said. My significant other went there. Has insurance not a problem right! Think again. From the moment I walked into Metro Eyecare at the Altoona Office, I knew this wasn’t going to be your typical eye care experience. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming, and full of positive energy, it’s the kind of place where even a full waiting room feels enjoyable. I would never recommend this business to anyone. The front desk staff is incredibly disrespectful. They treated both my child and myself as though they were better than us, annoyed we were there and were incredibly dismissive. When asking for some information they refused to answer. Hoping I could get a general answer from our medical records, I asked for these and was told by the front desk she would mark out that information. The dr seemed to be in a rush and she has very poor bedside manner. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

NEVER DARKEN THIS PLACE'S DOOR. I had a routine visit and it cost me $175. Then on top of it they charged me for a visit from a year ago for $106 I called and questioned them and they told me if I hadn't heard from them it was paid. No statements for one Year!!!
