The great menu items are spectacular, and the mediocre menu items are unremarkable. If you try a variety of things you'll discover it's a bit hit or miss -- depending on the item and the cook that day. However, most of their signature items are quite good. Everything (even the mediocre stuff) is prepared well. Some of it (like Chipped Beef, for example) is just not quite what you'd expect.
RecommendedWe love going to breakfast here. A family favorite. They have all the usual suspects for breakfast with some fun things thrown in along with their specials. Food is always top notch as is the staff!!

I am breastfeeding and have a dairy restriction. They were able to cook my meal in separate skillets and used oil instead of butter. I was very appreciative of the accommodations! Metro Diner is a family favorite!

We always enjoy Metro in Mandarin. Sage runs a great operation resulting in consistent service and product. It is our go-to spot on the weekends!
This diner has the best comfort food ever. We have are missing the southern style food this is a place to go. They are quick and respectful. Parking is poor but you can park in the shopping center in front
Visiting from Cleveland Ohio and this is our second time while in Florida we have come for breakfast! Amazing! Breakfast pie is a must! Will be back again next trip here!
