Metro at Eglinton and Victoria Park has lost me as a customer after the way I was treated this morning. Around 7:55 AM, I arrived at the store with my two brothers-in-law to grab a few groceries after our workout. We entered through the main entrance, which was unlocked. There were no signs, no cones, and no indication that the store was still closed. We walked right past two employees, and neither of them said anything to us. On August 14 around 9:43 pm, I tried to ask an employee (tall, slim build, dark skin tone) a question, but he ignored me. He had one AirPod in and could clearly see my lips moving, yet made no effort to acknowledge me. This came across as unapproachable and unacceptable in a retail setting. Fortunately, a senior employee later assisted me instead, and I appreciated their help.
