The worst pet insurance out there. I called prior to getting the insurance and asked if teeth cleaning was covered and they said yes with the added wellness plan. I trusted their word and now they do not want to cover the cleaning because my vet put periodontal disease. I understand that prior illness is not covered but I spoke with my vet and confirmed it was a cleaning only and those words are added there to prevent periodontal disease. I recvd a 30 day free for my dogs when I purchased my new puppys Registration and they said I could add all 4 dogs so I did for the free 30 days. What are the odds one of my dogs had pancreatitis and cost me 700 and they actually sent me 500 to my PayPal account which was awesome.
This company is a complete scam and I would never recommend this company for pet insurance. Every claim that you submit will be denied and called a “pre-existing condition“. Only choose them if you would like to be paying out-of-pocket for all of your pets expenses and giving them money on top of your vet bills. Horrible customer service. I would give them zero stars if I could.
Horrible value. Used to be great, but now they purposely made it very hard to file and complete claims requiring documents that are not standard for vets who may or may not ever provide them, and they refuse to help you get them from the vets like they used to. And I don't file many claims. Maybe 4 in 3 years.... I had 4 animals covered. Not anymore. Save time and money. Use your vet's wellness plan instead.
Like most of the reviews on here state,(which I wish I would have read prior), my claim was denied due to supposedly being a “pre-existing condition from 3 years ago. I’m so disappointed in this company and I have several different policies with them. Seems they look for any small reason to avoid paying out. I am in the process of appealing and if that is denied I will obtain an attorney as this in my opinion utterly theft. They should not take people’s money to provide a service they have no plan on fulfilling.
