MetLife and their Pet division is the worst. After having had 2500 in what should be covered they kept inventing new reasons for not settling and covering. The service got so bad, that I as an executive in my company have chosen to keep MetLife out of our health insurance program, which we spend 4,000,000 on annually, as I could not risk any human being the exposure to this company. I want other pet owners to be extremely careful before switching an existing pet insurance policy to MetLife Pet Insurance. I had insured my dog, Bain, with Spot Pet Insurance since he was a puppy. I later switched to MetLife through my employer after being told that MetLife could help cover Bain’s expensive veterinarian-prescribed therapeutic food. Worst customer service. You'll never see your money back. Weeks of denials for basic pet emergency and "not having enough information", even with vet notes and receipts. Go anywhere but here.

Fast processing of claims, able to receive 90% back from a 2,000$ Vet bill.
