They won’t cover your dog on anything if they have any allergy. Just go to AKC insurance much more worth it

I switched insurance because the premiums went sky high, My premium doubled overnight with MetLife, this company is a rip off! Every claim they are asking for soap notes from last 12 months, they have all been submitted with 4 previous claims. All but one claim was denied! And they only paid a minimal amount. Every thing is a preexisting condition even though lumps he now has he did not have previously. So because there is one lump on my dog previously all the other ones are preexisting? First, since 2021 when I enrolled my cats' policies until the present, I have been very pleased with the prompt and thorough service of MetLife Pet Insurance. Recently one of my cats' kidneys ceased to function and putting him to sleep appeared to be my only option. MetLife reimbursed me promptly which I greatly appreciate.

Worst service ever. I go insurance just to be preventative. My dog fell running the next day and the policy clearly states accidents are immediate. They would not pay as they considered this a pre existing condition. Customer was friendly but not helpful. I had insurance for 4 months and spend more time on the phone re sending the same information over and over.

Randomly increased my policy for $110 without warning for a second time in 2 years. Called to discuss what happened and was told they can do that every year for as long as they want without warning. Was told to look at other options, those being $2k less and only $50 cheaper with a higher deductible. Ive been a client for 8 years. Predatory company.
