THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY So, to be transparent and honest, I, as so many do, have a contempt for the plumbing industry as a whole. This is based on the ridiculous “trip fee” they charge. This originated during the union days of the 1920’s and 1930’s when plumbing was less sanitary and plumbers were not paid a fair wage.
