Mammograms are a very intimate exam. This was my first time experiencing this and I was incredibly nervous. I took comfort in thinking that this was in a protected space. As I sat waiting, basically undressed from the waist up (my “gown” didn’t have ties) a man was escorted in to the same area. I felt extremely uncomfortable and exposed.
Everyone at this facility is friendly, helpful and very professional.
The NP was very knowledgeable and I absolutely loved that he repeatedly asked if I had questions.
The receptionist and MRI tech were professional and kind. The visit went much better than I thought it would .
