They don't listen to patient's concerns; how can a patient be an advocate for themselves when the doctor frowns on it?

I'm not happy about being robo called and waiting 20 minutes for a real person to come on so that they can tell me I owe them $40. This happens at the same time that I wait a few weeks for a doctor's office to call me to allow me to make an appointment even though I've given them all the paper work and medical files they've asked for.
my mom used to work there, my son was born there. top notch hospital top notch doctors,surgeons etc. I would recommend MHS to anyone and everyone.
I’d like to recognize the service given by the many volunteers in the MHS. From manning the gift shops to assisting in mammography prep to cuddling NICU babies to “No One Dies Alone” .....so many ways that volunteers augment the culture and free up staff for their critical duties. I’m proud to be a Methodist volunteer.
Great care. Quick turn around on ordering tests and bloodwork. Dr. Jeffrey Gartrell and his nurse are great. If you need a family practice doctor- Dr. Gartrell is your guy.
