We had to file a complaint against Dr Bonilla! Pt care is not on the list of care at this hospital. They treat pts like they are not paying for a service. The drs here feel like you are on their time and the nurses just go with it.. this needs to stop. I don’t know how many times I was told that this is how it’s always been done!! Really!!!!
The Neurological Team on the 3rd floor are awesome, nurses, housekeeping, Doctors. We have visited on 3 different staycations and every time we have had outstanding care and service. Food needs a little work but overall I highly recommend
My son went the ER with chest pain, extremely high blood pressure, and a few more minor issues. It took some time, but they finally got him in the back and there he sat. They did a chest x-ray. After a couple of hours, they gave him a nitroglycerin tablet. Period. No pain meds. No blood pressure meds. After a few more hours, they took his blood pressure (that was twice in about 5 hours) and it was 208/125! THEY SENT HIM HOME!!! I'm SO angry. This is stroke level blood pressur… See more
I was in a chair over 8 hours in the back. Doctor came to talk to me said they were admitting me and that he’d give me some meds. After 2 hours I never got a thing. The day nurses were awesome. The night nurses came on and never said a word to us for hours. When I finally got to move the nurse that came to move me, saw me struggling trying to get my things loaded on chair but didn’t help me. Very sad this hospital has gone down.
I must have had the same doctor as Sherri, I went to the hospital with both covid and the flu (at the same time)-- I told them I had copd and empysema and an autoimmune disease that makes it hard to heal--A really high number on he bloodwork showed I had a blood clot disolving and they did a cat scan of my lungs that didn't show a clot there so who knows where it is (nothing else was checked)--The xray showed the emphysema and also showed a small portion of my lung was collapsed-- They gave me a potassium pill because my pot... read more
My father in law was admitted via the ER at approximately 7 pm on 6/2 with stroke like symptoms. As I type this he is STILL in the ER and has yet to receive a firm diagnosis. W. T H ?
Not sure why Methodist is not allowing families when their love ones are having a baby. I could not see my daughter today after she gave birth. I was told that I could see him when they were discharged. In the parking lot. Great policy for a. Hospital. Stay away. I won’t ever go back after missing my grandsons arrival.
Yesterday was the Worst experience I have had at Stone Oak or any Methodist Hospital. I have a rare autoimmune disease and a month ago I was in Methodist-Atasoca with pneumonia. I woke up yesterday with a 104.7 fever in the middle of the night. I waited for my husband to get off work to drive me the 2 hours to Stone Oak because of my long history. The doctor came in and put me on Sepsis alert. She did not listen to me about the new monthly infusion I take for the autoimmune. I had a high fever and had been falling. My left ... read more
