I was sent to a room for my stay but unfortunately the call button wasn’t functioning properly it kept calling the nurses station. Went to the ER with a possible blood clot in my ankle and they did a doppler test and sent me home without ever telling me I had a blood clot! After a couple days when it still hurt, I looked at the discharge papers, only to find that I had "thrombophlebitis, Superficial" and I was supposed to take care of it (elevate, apply heat and cold, take NSAIDS, compress, don't sit or stand for long periods) -- none of which I was told. HORRIBLE!!! My young adult daughter was transported due to seizure by ambulance. She was treated very rudely after complaining twice about IV site pain, yet no one ever checked her IV site to see if something might possibly be wrong with it. After another 55 minutes of watching my daughter in pain and ready to take the IV out herself, I pushed the help button again.
