Extremely Disappointing and Concerning Experience I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the way my mother was treated at Houston Methodist Hospital on Fannin Street. My mother has progressive multiple sclerosis. She is approximately 98 pounds, extremely frail, and significantly disabled. I have been going to Methodist hospital clinics for more than 25 years w no major complaints. However, in the past 2 years, Methodist decided to have an AI operator. This change in the system has been a nightmare for me to contact the MD office. For 2 cataract surgeries I have experienced a 4 hour wait for a 9am appointment. Another time it was a 2 hour wait. Trying to get prescription orders w instructions has been nearly impossible. I have had to call a minimum of 5 times for instructions but no one returned my call. I hav... read more

Yeah enough is enough. I'm submitting all audio and video of all my interactions at the hospital the past 5 days to the medical board. This is out right ridiculous

If you value your life and/or the quality of it, you WILL NOT go here. I had an expected 15 day admission for treatment of an acute attack of a rare deadly disease called Neuromyelitis Optica (which can cause blindness, paralysis, or death) and I had to request an early discharge after 11 days cutting my necessary treatment short which could result in lifelong, permanent damage due to the fear of staying in this hospital any longer.
