Metcap is synonym of greed and bad management. Dont say we didn't tell you. I have been renting my entirely life, and never experience such a bad, incompetent, property management company.
Metcap has been the worst building management I’ve dealt with. The building has gotten noticeably dirtier under their management, and issues don’t get handled properly. Before moving into a Metcap-managed building, be very clear and get everything in writing: cleaning schedule, maintenance response times, and what condition your unit and common areas will be kept in. I had a worst experience living at 26 Albert Avenue. During our year there, we dealt with consistent rat and cockroach infestations. Despite multiple maintenance requests, the issues were never properly resolved, which eventually forced us to end our lease. The move-out process was even worse. We provided the required two months' notice for our January 2026 move-out, but communication from the superintendent, Jelena, completely stopped. They did not have my lease available to discuss when my rent increase should happen in a rental year therefore they could not even discuss why the second increase in the same rental year...the customer service representative was extremely rude with no finesse in dealing with the public.
One of the worst rental experiences ever. MetCap Living Management is extremely unprofessional. The resident manager, Jelena Ivansic, was rude, unresponsive, and dismissive. Maintenance requests were ignored, communication was poor, and the building was old and poorly maintained, with issues like cockroaches and rats. Despite this, the rent is unreasonably expensive for the quality provided. I would strongly advise anyone to avoid renting with MetCap.
