I can’t recommend Gabrielle enough! I came in with so much tension in my traps and shoulders, and she made such an incredible difference. She spent time releasing the fascia in my neck, and I was amazed by how much it helped, not only did my neck feel so much looser, but my traps, which are usually extremely always tight, felt noticeably softer and more relaxed. Can’t rave about this place enough. Absolutely wonderful prenatal massage. First time I’ve ever done it belly down, but she was fully prepared and walk me through it every step of the way. Pretty sure I fell asleep and snored on the table multiple times, but she didn’t shame me for it. Guess it’s a testament of how good it really was. The space was also very clean with a nice minimal aesthetic. Shared bathroom for the floor, but it was fine. Will definitely be going back.
The studio is super cozy and aesthetically pleasing. I loved it from the moment I stepped in. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I greatly appreciate the form they send you before your visit, where they ask how you want to communicate. You can opt for the most relaxing option with almost no talking or a more chatty version. I felt better instantly after this massage. I didn't even know the full scope of where I was experiencing tightness but the massage therapist identified the areas and focused on them, resulting an a better than expected outcome. I walked in with 100 tabs open in my brain and left in calmness. I can't wait to get back to META Bodywork!
WOWWW I cannot say enough good things about my experience here! I scheduled a 10am massage through ClassPass, and my massage therapist was Maureen. First, the space is beautifully designed and so relaxing. I had filled out the forms ahead of time, and I really appreciate that they ask how much communication you want- from none at all, to minimal, to chatty.
