As soon as you walk into the hallway, you already smell such a great scent coming from Meta Bodywork. Alexandra was great, and taught me so much about ways that I can improve my shoulder and back pain. Highly recommend Meta Bodyworks as the space is very relaxing, very clean, and the staff are incredibly friendly
Most massages I get, I end up saying things like "that what's you get for a low cost" or "that was not worth the money". Finally - an experience that was worth it! The environment, experience, and massage with Alexandra was fantastic. Once of the best I've ever had and will definitely be returning. Thank you!
I have been going to Meta Bodywork since 2019! I have had incredible massages and an out of this world Reiki session . This is the best place in Jersey City.
Got a lymphatic drainage massage and although the therapist was very sweet and attentive, I don’t think the technique used was very effective. I looked and felt the same after. I’ve seen other spas use techniques that instantly show physical results with reducing inflammation and bloating and unfortunately this didn’t have that. Considering the price point I was hoping for more effective results :/
I had a prenatal massage with Leslie. She was welcoming and warm, showing my the pillow set up and how to navigate the position changes before we got started. I had a TON of knots in my back and Leslie put in work on them, she checked in with me when things got intense and was giving my body the release it needed. Highly recommend and I plan to go back for a few more visits throughout my pregnancy.
