RecommendedAwesome company with an Amazing/Quality product
I would recommend Messermeister were it not for their lack of clarity on their website. Firstly, prices are in USD and that is not specified. Secondly, each page promises free shipping, but that only is for USA customers: my order was over USD100 and I was charged over USD40 Fedex shipping. Messermeister should be clearer. I have not tested their products; they should be on their way to me. My caution for for non-USA customers only.
The first chef I apprenticed under bought me the full Meridian Elite line of knives, sadly they were stolen. They were, without a doubt, the best knives I've ever used in 30 years as a chef. Getting a new set of that line very soon.
I love Messermeister knives. I have used them for years not only breaking down meat, but preparing many awesome meals. Best knives on the market.
I have the the 10 inch San Moritz elite and the handle broke when it accidentally fell to the kitchen floor. Good looking knife but it is not for professional use. Only good for home cooking .
Great German Knife. I wouldn’t use anything else.
