We rented a property in Rancho Cucamonga from Mesa Properties. Mesa continues to this day to retain $1586.89 of $2750 deposit for painting and completing repairs for items that existed and are displayed on the move-in condition photos. On the move-in condition photos, the items were listed as satisfactory but upon moving out one year later, they have now withheld nearly 2/3 of our deposit. I am a Disabled Widower in an unique situation. My contact with this company started with a request to see a property for lease in my area. Their requirements for the lease were extraordinary. The property was nice and I proceeded to take steps necessary to apply to lease this property. If you take into account my circumstances, I have the funds necessary to handle this transaction. I contacted this company the other day after submitting my application. I had questions about the process so I called the company before I submitted the $30 app fee. I am always skeptical about app fees. I talked with Amanda. I have to say she did not seal the deal for this company. She acted like she does not like her job or she did not like my voice, one or the other. This company is racist and or biased. I have good credit over 20k in the bank. A good paying career. I don't have sec8. No evictions. They denied my rental application for reasons I believe to be discrimination. Black single mother. All contact from beginning to end has been robotic and calculated.
