The Merrifield team is a wonderful team. The environment is clean and very welcoming. The leasing agent that I talked to (Rahel Telahun)was very professional yet friendly. She gave me a wonderful tour and gave me all the details I needed to know. Best experience I’ve had with finding a place to live in.
I took a remodeled apartment with a 1-year contract with two bedrooms and a study for $2,750 and they sent me a renewal offer for $3,199. It is an increase of $450 if I accept before two months of finishing the contract, but if it is after the increase goes up to $3,229 and $3,279 respectively. (To be remodeled, it has poor finishes, the study door does not close well, the doors of the furniture were crooked and poorly installed, the floor makes noise when you step on it. I have been in Merrifield apartments for almost a year and so far have had a very positive experience with the apartment, the gym, and the tennis court. The maintenance and management office staff are very helpful and attentive. Special mention to Stella and Rehel who have been exceptional from the pre-move in until now. When I walk into the management office I always get the care and help I need. Thank you to all the staff in the management office!!
Adding after an untruthful response: Quote from email, Trena on 4/26/24 "If you have any questions regarding the charges on the settlement statement, please feel free to contact me in writing. All questions must be addressed in writing and no information regarding any charges will be discussed over the telephone." DO NOT MOVE HERE – WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have lived here for four years, and every year it somehow gets worse. If you are considering moving here, run. This place is a complete scam, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
