Hidden gem on Maple few doors west of State. Beautiful home converted into a 5🌟restaurant specializing in Northern Italian cuisine cooked by the owner/chef extraordinaire from that region. The food is out of this world. Fine dining yet a cozy feel in a big beautiful house. If you have not gone here, please do as the wine selection is fabulous, cocktails are perfect and the staff knows their stuff. Bravo!
Old family recipes from the owners who came from Bologna, Italy. All pastas made in-house and are remarkable. Unless you want a piece of meat or fish, I would just order antipasti and share a few pastas. Great service too, a serious gem.
Astounding food. Completely authentic. This would be 5 stars had service been remotely competent. Forgot to put in our appetizers twice. Forgot our two after dinner drinks.
Consistently it is always the best Italian in Chicago if not everything I've had around the country...service included 100%
