8 weeks ago I shattered my wrist and because of Dr Hamer it is healing wonderfully. I can move my fingers and wrist. When I first saw my arm and then the X-rays I thought I would never make small glass figurines again. But now…. I have no doubt in my mind it’s only a few weeks away. He is a wonderful, caring doctor! All of his staff is also awesome. You won’t be able to find a better one!
Arthroscopic surgery for a carpel tunnel problem with my dominant hand. Efficient and businesslike doctor. Excellent results with the surgery after 2 1/2 months and still improving!
I was disappointed by his inability to help me or give guidance and his callus attitude toward a life changing disability for me. I am 39 and first came to him in October 2024 complaining of progressive debilitating hand function and excruciating pain in my left/dominant hand. History: I fractured my left pinky in college (age 19) and tore a ligament, both of which I did not have repaired properly at the time and resulted in minor chronic arthritis in the area. Very impersonal and when I brought up a couple subjects, he completely blew it off. I have a terrible disease called CRPS in my left leg. When I asked him about if it could go into my hand he completely blew me off. My hand did not turn out well from a 3 finger surgery. My middle finger is stiff, and I have major scarred adhesions in my hand. I‘M in agony all the time. I am getting laser treatments and sound therapy that I had to pay $1700 for it because the VA doesn’t cover it. I’m also an OT and nothing is seeming to help.... read more
Cant say enough positive things about Dr. Jake Hamer. I've had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Hamer about 5 times now. 1st for EMG test referral for positive carpal tunnel on both wrists my 1st visit and Dr.Hamer was just a down to earth easy man to dialogue with and his approach and communicating with you is so chill he's extremely knowledgeable as he is a orthopedic hand surgeon and he explains things to you in a calm low voice while looking you in the eye explaining what condition you have what causes it while he's ... read more
