Dr. Akmal has proven himself, over and over, to be insensitive, rude, lacking in empathy and understanding as a pain management caretaker, and I am tired of suffering because of his inadequacies. Dr is an egotistical idiot .
If I could give zero stars I would. My mother was a patient there before she became incapacitated due to a severe spinal cord injury that happened over a month ago. She is currently in a rehab facility in Hagerstown. Her pain management specialist sent my mom a piece of mail at the rehab facility (so they clearly know where she is) lecturing her on missing two appointments and causing a disruption to their office. 2 stars only for the great office staff and nurse practitioners The doctor was horrible. he was really nasty He took me off the meds i was on ever though my other doctors thought it was not a good fit. he then tried to burn nerves in my back or give me shots in my back Even tough i did not want to start that cycle at this point.
