The hospital is good in my opinion, but like with any profession, you have some people that probably should not be in that capacity. We had a night nurse named Cathy. Cathy was not completely skilled and caused internal bleeding which led to the death of my mother.
Took 2 1/2 hours to be seen. Customer service was poor in that reception was unwilling to resolve issue causing a longer wait. I failed vision test and went to another clinic and passed. My vision is 20/25. There are other clinics I would suggest you use.
As a patient, I received excellent care from professional staff. This was the receptionist all the way through admission, testing, or surgery by the nursing staff, radiology staff, lab and physician's. As a Nurse I worked with the staff closely when our patients had procedures or surgeries and they were always kind, helpful and professional. I took my mom in to Emergency yesterday cause she had a lot of blood in her urine . Heres the treatment she got : 1. Put in a cubicle that was so cold it was ridiculous. The door was propped open by a chair . I removed the chair to sit down and the door closes shut. 2. She was yelling for a nurse to give her some blankets and no one came . Nurses were within 30 feet . I had to round up a nurse to bring some and it took forever... then she just tosses them on the bottom corner of the bed. 3. "SURPRISE PRICING" will really get you good here. I have good insurance so I look like a gold ticket and another vacation for the doctor apparently. When you have insurance they will charge you excessive amounts ($4000 for a bandage and x-rays when you hit your thumb with a hammer). I didn't have a job so I tried to go to their non-emergency department first but the doctor there was too stupid to determine the difference between needing a bandage or needing surgery so he said it was too much for him to handle so he sent me t... read more
