This was probably the worst ER visit I’ve ever had for one of my children. We were put into a room that looked (and smelled) like it was for holding prisoners… the chairs all had latches for handcuff, and I was in there with my 10 year old who was having a severe allergic reaction. The nursing staff were so rude and treated us like we were an inconvenience for being there. The place was completely empty, it was 3am and we were there for 4 hours. The American Healthcare system is a joke. This is a business. Not a haven for getting better. It's ridiculous. The doctor discharged me and walked out on me while I was talking. He obviously had to get somewhere way more important than anything I'm going through. It's insane. I got no help but basic instructions. This is the second time I went there and they were completely uninterested and didn't want to help me or be there. A hospital is supposed to have hospitality. Not hostility.
