A late review, but wanted to share my experience with Merit. My parents were both in the military at the time, and they were stationed at Ft. Carson in 1984. When we moved to Colorado Springs in 1984 from Maryland my parents were looking for a house to rent. Merit was great in helping my parents find a nice house on Galley Rd near Peterson AFB. We were there until 1987 when my parents moved to Minnesota under P.C.S. orders. I, on the other hand enlisted in the Army in 1986.
UPDATE: Merit responded by coming up with the excuse that my appointment was not confirmed. I never received any type of confirmation communication from them. Also, every office I have ever worked in will honor an appointment that was scheduled UNLESS the appointment is canceled by the patient/client. With or without a confirmation. Our time is valuable and I can see that Merit does not value the clients' time. Realtors did not show up for the showing and expect the client to provide realtor's information. Very unprofessional! The property Manager Never returns phone calls. We are Military -arriving to this location. Listed a home and told us to put an application in and the next day emailed to say it’s been rented. Advised us that we could not submit application till the property is shown. DO NOT RECOMMEND! As a property owner and tenant .
