I quit reading this newspaper a long time ago due to lack of actual news but I'm appalled that they would choose to support ANY candidate of ANY political debate. What happened to fair journalism - reporting the facts and leaving opinions out of it?
As a news outlet, it is highly unethical to support any political candidate. The meridian star is a NEWS paper, and should report the news, not personal views. Very disappointed.
Well really didn't have a problem until you endorsed Hillary Clinton for president now you can take your paper and shove it where the sun don't shine you're supposed to be a news Outlet that means you're to stay neutral
The actions taken by the Meridian Star to endorse and support any political candidate is totally absurd. Democrat, Republican or Independent, this was simply slap in the face to every one of your supporters, customers, subscribers, advertising sponsors and employees!! A business such as your media capacity and community involvement should leave politics out of the equation. Very bad move, highly disappointed, you've betrayed many people of all races in the Meridian Star Community.
