Thank God for Debby! And honestly the other nurses. They were amazing. I had a doula, as well. But, for me, the nurses were the real support, especially Debby. She was there during the birth, she was someone who truly cared for mama and the outcome. Her caring and concern went along way. She made me feel safe during this journey. I waited over 2 hours to get a cervical check just to make sure I'm not in labor I was promised they would come.I waited another 45 minutes and no one came.This is my fifth baby and I know labor can come quickly.I'm definitely contracting every 1 to 2 minutes.As showed on the monitor the lack of care was very unfortunate. When I told them I was leaving they didn't even try to fix the problem and check my cercix. Our daughter has had both her babies at this hospital and I tell you…the staff in the birth center are absolutely wonderful!! Warm and caring Doctors and nurses. Very attentive. They have answers to questions and concerns. Never short with anyone in the room. The care and communication is stellar!
