I would like to say that there is a nurse there by the name of Cathy and she is an absolute angel. Loving and kind when it is needed so much. She made me feel like I had so much support. Ms. Cathy if it were just you 5 stars all the way. If only she did outpatient therapy 😊 You Ms Cathy, and also the male nurse that works at night is wonderful. Ty!
The staff are rarely considerate and appropriate for the job, many will ignore or pick on patients. And the doctor is absolutely horrible, he twists details in the limited communication between family and patients, and all the inpatient counselors seem to do the same as long as he's around. Completely unprofessional and inappropriate for a mental health and behavioral care facility, nobody here even pretends to care about the human beings they "treat". Wouldn't address my TBI as a reason for my mental health decline, which led to me being prescribed the wrong medication for 7 years. Kept me there so long that I left there over weight and too tired to keep up with my schedule in society. A gym would have helped keep active, in a way long term patients could integrate back into society. In other words, maybe don't hold patients there so long unless you get a gym! thanks
My mother went in recently and every interaction with the nurses I’ve had trying to speak with her has been utterly disgusting, disrespectful, and extremely rude. While making contact with her to get information for her job they were extremely lazy, rolling their eyes, scoffing, and telling her they get it when they get it. This place is horrible and disgusting for people who actually need and want the services they provide.
