RecommendedMerichka’s is always a go-to place for us Joliet area natives coming back to town. The locals always live stopping in for the iconic poor boy and other fine dishes. It’s a must destination for reunions or just a quaint family dinner. Thanks for the fun times!
yes my wife and I was just there to get our poorboy fix my wife turned me on to you guys when we got together and would say there great even got garlic butter to take home

Been going there for many years seeing very few updates on the building and the only things I’ve seen change over the years is the size of the meat on the famous poorboy sandwich keeps getting smaller and the price continues to grow, nice way to thank your customers for keeping them in business for all these years. I’m sure that would explain why it has become so easy to get a table anytime you want when in the past you’d have to wait. The service from the staff however is very good.
