If I could give 0 starts I would. I had started out my pregnancy with a midwife planning to do an at home birth. At 20 weeks it went south and I had to transfer care and I’ve been with Doran clinic at Mary greely for almost 2 1/2 month. I LOVE my OB there. On Thursday evening at home we thought my water broke at 29 weeks. Went to Mary Greely and they confirmed my water broke and I was transferred to Mercy in Des Moines as Mary greely doesn’t have the capabilities to deliver before 34 weeks. There was negligence during my delivery process that caused complications to my baby. Still dealing with the repercussions.
Most stressful event in my life. They basically told you what they already decided was the "best care" for your newborn rather than inform the parents of their options for their baby. I would not recommend for anyone
My daughter had her baby at Mercy Hospital and the experience overall was pretty positive you generally get a nurse or two that treat you like you've never seen a baby before butt those were very far and few between
