The billing department at this hospital is an absolute disgrace. They are utterly incompetent, unresponsive, and incapable of doing the most basic part of their job, which is properly filing claims on time. Despite countless phone calls and attempts to resolve the issue, they ignored everything and instead chose the lazy route of sending my bill to collections. My wife just had a hip replacement last week. Mercy greatly exceeded our expectations! We have been to many hospitals over the years including many in Baltimore. The Mercy experience has been the best. All (and I mean all) of the staff were friendly and accommodating, most very much so. The surgeon even stopped by for a second time in the morning and gave all his patients roses!! The hospital is clean and spacious. Valet parking was affordable and very useful.
