Worst unit ever!!! U get a half of cup of something decaf each meal and the rest of the time you only get water! The food is always cold and disgusting. Everyone in the er are rude and hateful to mental patients. Blonde psychiatrist was nice and always helpful. I don't remember her name. And Jett is an angel. Too bad they didn't all act like that. Recommendation: In-depth Trauma Informed Training and identifying biases when handling patients would probably be more effective. As well as, developing a selfcare/safe space for staff members while managing frustrated and often mentally unwell patients. In hopes to reduce the amount of burnout the staff members are experiencing, while on shift.... FYI: Patients come from all social standings/classes. As well as education background. This place bullied my husband and manipulated him into taking medication that is not safe for him to take. They know this. They knew this last year. And they refused to give him anything else to help him until he took medication that is not safe for him. I'm FURIOUS and will be reporting this.
