Parents, don't pay attention and the child is taken a way from good parents.is drugs really needed? Is the therapist really listening. Are they just wanting a paycheck? It's sad that kids suffers from who is in the wrong. Total BS to me . family pushes and pushes until the volcano eruption comes flowing from not being Heard. Get it straight..
Just like most every comment - patients are kept in rooms with no chances for group nor independent therapy. Doctors and nurses aren’t seen for days on end. This place is more like a jail stay for those seeking help.
Worst unit ever!!! U get a half of cup of something decaf each meal and the rest of the time you only get water! The food is always cold and disgusting. Everyone in the er are rude and hateful to mental patients. Blonde psychiatrist was nice and always helpful. I don't remember her name. And Jett is an angel. Too bad they didn't all act like that. Recommendation: In-depth Trauma Informed Training and identifying biases when handling patients would probably be more effective. As well as, developing a selfcare/safe space for staff members while managing frustrated and often mentally unwell patients. In hopes to reduce the amount of burnout the staff members are experiencing, while on shift.... FYI: Patients come from all social standings/classes. As well as education background.
