This is regarding the Radiology Department and specifically the Walk-In Hours posted on the website for X-Rays for the Elk Grove, CA location. The hours posted are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. I arrived there before 4:45 p.m. and there is a sign posted “X-Ray Closed”. I stated the hours to the person at the Front Desk and it didn’t matter to her. How does this help patients who can only get there after 4:00 p.m. due to their work schedule? Their appointment number just keeps you on hold, I’ve tried calling different times and can’t reach anyone. I called this office directly for help and the lady said it’s just a long queue, can I put you on hold and did not come back to the phone.

Make sure and check if you should get x-rays on certain medications. Don't get Xray's if you are on high blood medication and on inflammation meds (Aleve, Naproxen - NSAIDS). This was the place I wanted to go to for workman's comp X-rays. There was an error with one call and the qualified medical examiner's doctor's X-ray request. Got the good old run around from people who are not doctors /nurses from one call. Which makes me have to come back due to these issues out of my control.
