Last Tuesday, 10-6-15, my Brian and I went to Unity because he was having chest pains. Everyone immediately jumped to action to not only take care of him but also tried to calm and reassure me. He was transported by ambulance to Mercy and they made sure I had easy directions to meet him there. Brian had a blockage removed and 3 stents put in. He has quit smoking and is recovering quickly. Thank you so much to everyone who helped us, I would have totally fallen apart without you!
I just DIED! SHOULD I KEEP WAITING FOR ALMOST 2 hours??? This is ridiculous!!! Worst stuff! Just old ladies! And they still got attitude!! Really? And nurses dont know what the F they doing. 99% of the reviews are bad! Why I ended up here? Why?

One of the worst staff I've had to deal with. No resolve for the worst sore throat I've ever had except an Otc spray that I told them I can't afford in the first place. The intake nurse was a complete incentive jerk and whoever the charge nurse was would not approve covering the $4 spray. What gets lost in that drama and rhetoric of the healthcare / Obamacare debate are the people on the front lines. My family was reminded of this during the last week or so as we faced down some challenges with our beloved mother. What we have learned, is that there are wonderful, caring, talented professionals kicking ass each and every day on behalf of their patients - our loved ones.
