Coming here allowed me to decide this would be the last time I ever go to a local/suburban specialist. I would rather travel to UC, OSU, or similar for better care. I have ALWAYS had mediocre medical care with specialists outside of teaching hospitals (such as endocrinology, neurology, cardiology). This experience just solidified my opinion on skipping the "little places" and going straight to a teaching hospital where the doctors are often more open, intelligent, and collaborative with their patients.
