They apparently need to hire more staff as appointments are rarely on-time, getting you in around the scheduled time. But then having to wait another 15-20 min for the actual doctor. A bit of an inconvenience when you have another appointment or commitment to head off to. Otherwise the office is fine.
The office is nice. The wait time no problem. I went in for a standard yearly physical that was covered by my insurance 100%. For no reason at all I received a $60 bill because apparently we talked about something in the physical that was above and beyond a standard physical. I went in there with no health concerns at all. They couldn’t even tell me what it was, something about excersizing more or something. Give me a break. That advice applies to everyone on the face of the earth…. I went in thinking I had a normal appointment for a tetanus shot with Dr Landon who is a fabulous doctor. Little did I know it would turn into 40 minutes of the receptionist (Threshon) practically screaming at me that they no longer accept my insurance. She was unwilling to give my insurance company the time of day to explain that my insurance will cover the cost but needs to be billed differently. The receptionist did not want to hear any of it. The front desk lady was lovely and so kind and the NP that helped me initially was very kind. The last visit I had, I talked to a doctor about VERY bad menstrual cycles and was looking for answers. Labs were done and everything came back normal, so my issues were a bit pushed to the side. I gave it more time to see if things would get better and they didn’t.
