I have gone to St. Mary's Southwest many times over the years for various things. Some were very serious and some were for an X-Ray, mammogram, blood work, etc. I always received the best care. They were kind, attentive and I could tell they genuinely cared about me. I feel the same way about the hospital downtown. I wouldn't go anywhere else
Went to the ER today and saw Lawrence Scherden. Super disappointed. He was very rude, told me to discontinue a medication I’ve been taking for months without giving me a reason and refusing to give me a reason. Discharge papers had wrong information on them. Asked for anti nausea meds since I ran out and he wouldn’t give them to me nor tell me why he wouldn’t. Staff are too busy laughing and talking to notice that a patient signed in. Sat for over 10 minutes before going directly to the desk. (There weren't any other people in the waiting room) Obviously they don't care about their jobs. Don't waste your time trying to be seen there, they'll let you die.
This place will let you die if a kid comes in with a runny nose you are after that kid and any old person wether or not you are worse off or not
