At one time I would have given them a 5 star but the last time I called(beginning of November) and needed a letter! All I needed was my diagnosis of my conditions! The only other thing it needed to say is that they contributed to a low creatine level! Because they wouldn’t my life has turned upside down mentally, physically and financially! It’s really sad that the doctor treating you can’t do a simple thing like this! My primary jumped right on it while I was sitting there
I had shared things with Emily Lackie. Shes a Pa things I haven't shared with anyone. She was understanding patient and amazing. I recommend anyone to go here. Believe me they do care.
I have to share this. Dr Patel has helped me so much in just the few times we have met. I talked to him about my issues and for the first time I had someone actually trying to help me instead of just telling me to lose weight. He helped me to understand my body is reacting to the trauma I’ve been through. He’s helped try to figure out what’s going on with me, all of me. Idk if explained this well at all but dr Patel is a 10/10 doctor.
this department is not managed well at all. my mom had an appt last month for a procedure, no time was given. my mom took the powder solution they provided and fasted just like it said to do, went through all of that.. to show up on the day of the procedure to them saying the doctor was on vacation and couldn’t do it. It’s not easy to fast that whole time, be in pain and have to go to the bathroom throughout that whole time frame.. This hospital gastroenterology department is extremely terrible I still haven’t gotten my medication it’s been two weeks they had my name spelled wrong so they said I didn’t come to my appointment but I did. I been suffering with ibs for over a year is about how long it took to even get a appointment and I will never go back again. They barely answer the phones after noon. A hospital that doesn’t care Fitzgerald mercy Gastroenterology department beware beware
