The staff at the front were very kind. Had a small conversation and within 5 minutes was taken back to be seen. RN Haley was so amazing, truly an advocate for her patients. She talked me through everything and reassured and validated my feelings at the time I walked in and took amazing care of me. Dr. J Payne… what a legendary, amazing guy. Follow up on this- It’s now July and my mom has been suffering from shingles since we were in the ER that day. I am now learning that antiviral medication in the 1st 72 hours is critical. IF the ER staff had used the critical thinking skills they get well paid to have, it’s possible she would have had a better outcome. Very disappointed in the care my mom received here. She was having early shingles symptoms, unbeknownst to us. My mom was crying and in pain from the nerve pain. She had other obvious (in hindsight) symptoms b... read more
