I brought my son-in-law to your ER on Feb. 18. He was having terrible back pain and couldn't sit or stand long at all. I dropped him off at noon and there were only three people waiting. He told them he needed to lay flat and was told there was no place for him to lay. He called me to come back. I came in and sat while he laid in the back of my van. I have been to this ER countless times for myself and loved ones. Everytime I have gone they haven't done a single thing. Mercy ER in Mason City is a JOKE!
Brought my wife in post surgery with kidney stone complications waited over 3 hours what an incredible joke mercy care really is
GO SOMEWHERE else FOR emergency!! the wait time for an EMERGENCY ROOM visit is unbelievable & unacceptable. My dad has been waiting for 4 hours to be seen.(still sitting here waiting) He is a kidney transplant patient and his doctor said to come to ER immediately since he has had the flu for 3 days. Nothing. There is no sense of emergency. Unreal.
No care whatsoever. What kind of ER has ZERO sense of urgency? Brought our loved one in ourselves with blood running down his leg from a surgery last week. Our loved one was told to come in to this facility if this happened regardless of time. And no one helped us. Just took his pressure and offered to clean up once we were out of the room. No worries.
