I've been trying for days now to get a hold of the pulmonology department to make an appointment with Justin Burks!!! When calling the number provided, I'm left on hold for hours. I need the appointment, or my oxygen will be taken away. Please pick up. How are people supposed to make appointments!?
My wife is undergoing cancer treatment for lung cancer and precautionary radiation treatment to her brain. She's gone to a excellent and attentive pulmonary specialist at the pulmonary center,"However", the nursing staff has some issues. She called this morning to talk to her doctor or at least a nurse to discuss some complications with a prescribed medication and hasn't heard a word from this nurse that was supposed to call back!! Now we have a holiday weekend approaching with no advice concerning some serious side effects.... read more
I feel Dr Grimm could care less about his patients and is unwilling to provide care appropriately. Instead of degrading someone for someone he should offer assistance, not refusal for care.
Dr. Pate was absolutely wonderful to me and helped me so much. He was instrumental in getting my breathing back on track and greatly improving my quality of life. Mercy hospital is superb and I am so thankful for them.
